Venue: Room 903, Pak Tak Hostel, Causeway Bay
Time : 10:00

Just wake up.. Oh my Gosh!! It’s only an hour left to go to the Pun Choi! We will be late!!! But Angel said it’s okay for being late.. she thought!
Okay, we’ll catch Angel in Kowloon Tong Station.. then we’ll continue by KCR (Kowloon-Canton Railway) to Tai Wo.. where the Tai Wo Cheung Ha temple’s located..

Time : 13:50
Venue: Tai Wo river

‘Wai.. where are you Percy?’
‘I’m on the bridge.. where are you?’
‘On the bridge!’



Hmm… How come we are all in the bridge but we can’t see each other??

‘Wai.. which bridge?’
‘The bridge near the Station.. Where are you?’
‘The bridge near the secondary School..’

Got it ! There are too many bridge on that river !!
But, finally we made it!! We just meet each other!!

Let’s go to the temple!

Time : 14:00
Venue: Tai Wo Cheung Ha Temple, New Territories, Hong Kong

Arrived in the temple.. But the first round is over.. So we have to wait for the next round!
The groups are the Indonesian, Angel, Rita, Percy, Thomas, and Connie.

So we just take our time to feel the beauty of Hong Kong..



.. and the beauty of the temple ..



The next hour is our time to have lunch!! It’s time for the Pun Choi.. the Vegetarian Pun Choi! What is Pun Choi? Pun Choi is plenty of foods that put in a big bowl and you have to eat it all !!
So, here it is.. Fake duck, fake chicken, fake shrimp.. hmm, I still don’t get the point of why people become a vegetarian but still eat those fake meat !!



In the middle of the lunch, there’s something interesting.. the organizer make a fund raising for donation to the tsunami’s victim including Indonesia!
They sell Chinese traditional candy for only HKD 10 and the money is for charity..
How many that we buy? A big box!!

Time : 15:00
Venue: Tai Po Market Railway Museum, Tai Po, New Territories

After the ceremony, we still have time to walk around the town.. So, we go to the Railway Museum near by..



While enjoying Tai Po Market Railway Museum, I keep in touch with Gary, and he said he’ll take me to something interesting in Fanling near from Tai Po.. it’s just one more stop after Tai Po to the north.



Because those shopping freak want to go to Mong Kok again, so I decide to go to Fanling just alone.. hmm.. that’s the real journey! Exploring new place that you can’t speak the language.. ALONE !!

Time : 17:00
Venue: Fanling KCR Station, Fanling, New Territories





I meet Gary in the station, but the place of the interesting object is closed already, it’s Gary’s installation for children in Fanling Library.. Too bad I couldn’t see it !!

And I take a look on my Lonely Planet’s map.. from Fanling is only about 15 minutes to go to Shen Zhen.. mainland China!!

Can I go there? I need Visa though.. well, probably I can make the Visa on Arrival but the risk is too big.. and maybe expensive too..
Gary try to find me the information but the China Immigration office is closed already!! Fu** 5 PM !!

I’m totally regretting why I didn’t make Visa to go to China before depart here.. Shit!!
I’m just almost in the border of Shen Zhen but I couldn’t go!! Sorry my ‘Shen Zhenese‘ friends..

But there’s always be NEXT TIME !!

Time : 18:00

In the train Gary told me about the newest mall in Hong Kong that is so beautiful.. of course in Architectural way.. so we decide to go there !!

But before, I still want to explore another side of Hong Kong.. not as a tourist, but as a young man!

‘Gary, do you know where I can find sex shop in here?’

We went to many shopping center.. but there’s no SEX SHOP.. Even in porn DVD market.. It seems like Hong Kong is a conservative place inside its modernity..
And finally we find ONE tiny sex shop in the very closed corner of one shopping center.

What’s next? ARMY STORE!!! I need to find one army printed brief!! The only army fashion item that I don’t have.. but I couldn’t find it!

Venue: Langham Place’s yard

Forget about the army brief.. it’s time to go to the mall that we’re talking about in the KCR..

And my first impression is.. AWESOME !!! what a place!! Just imagine that we have this mall in Surabaya.. well, for sure I’ll go there everyday!!

Venue: inside of Langham Place

After dinner, Gary needs to go to his Mom’s house.. but we’ll gonna meet again at night to upload my pictures in his studio..
So, I’m continuing my trip in this mall..

One of my objective to have extended trip in Hong Kong is to do some research to gain information resources for my thesis about filming facility.. so I’m looking for the cinema to make that as inspiration..

Venue: EDIT Design Ltd, Tin Hau, Hong Kong

Gary has done with his family’s thingy.. so we take the MTR to go to his studio..
I’m uploading my pictures.. Nheni is checking her emails, Shinta is wondering around and Gary is doing his job..



Some talk too.. about his thesis.. about his installations.. and about the Shu Uemura’s project!! Well done, Gary!!
